This practice invites us to forgive ourselves, ask for forgiveness to beings we have harmed, and forgive those who have harmed us. It is fine if we have the intention to forgive and are not yet ready to full forgive. Lissa reflects on what is and isn't forgiveness and the benefits of forgiveness as well prior to the guided practice. We are invited to call upon a circle of care to support us during the practice as well.
