Mudita & the 10,000 joys and sorrow Brahmaviharas practice & reflections (46 mins)

Offer What You Can

In this practice Lissa invites us to practice with all four brahmaviharas, boundless heart qualities -- metta (loving kindness), karuna (compassion), mudita (appreciative joy), and upekkha (equanimity) working together to support us and our present moment experience. This practice has an emphasis on the quality of mudita being formed through our metta and karuna practice and us cultivating the ability to have greater access to this quality of interconnected joy that can protect us from envy, jealousy, scarcity, and hatred. We are invited into feeling into joy practice even amidst the challenge and sorrows that are also often present.
