In this practice, Lissa invites us to offer ourselves and our present moment experience a quality of radical welcome, generosity, acceptance, and appreciation. This is a practice supportive for those navigating challenge or difficulty where we can investigate ways we reject aspect of ourselves or our experience as well as ways we block our capacity to experience ease, care, and goodness.
If supportive, for the radical welcome, we can picture ourselves being greeted in the way we would by someone else welcoming us warmly into their space, setting us up in a comfy seat, seeing what we need -- space, refreshments, etc. and see if we can begin to slowly welcome ourselves in that way.
